Why can't
I use some of my income to qualify for a mortgage?
- If you have not paid
taxes on some or all of your income, we can't include it when you qualify
for a mortgage.
- if you can't prove that
you receive income, for instance if you get it in cash - we can't count it.
- if you don't receive
it regularly, for instance if your child support only comes every other month
or sometimes not at all, the bank cannot count it. In order to count child
support for loan payment, it must be court ordered and you have received it
consistently for 12 months.
